Welcome Aboard
In case you can't tell, I am interested in the ocean, boats, sea stories,
and anything else "wet." I am a Research Engineer at the MIT
Sea Grant College Program where I manage the Autonomous
Underwater Vehicles (AUV) Lab. We develop Autonomous Vehicles (basically
robotic submarines and boats). I also supervise students in the MIT Ocean
Engineering Department and support the MIT Deep
Sea Archeology research group. I have made an effort to make my page
simple to use while still presenting useful and, I hope, interesting information.
The navigation bar (many thanks to the OE web site for the format) or
links below will take you to my other pages which will tell you more about
me. Please check out the rest of my site and enjoy your stay.
What's new? Well my Future page has been updated
and I have updated my Photos page to show some
new pictures. Be sure to check out the pictures of Timothy Doherty
our baby Nephew. On my Projects page you
can find info on my most recent field experiements.
