Hull's "Five Intersecting Tetrahedra"
What: Five Intersecting Tetrahedra
By: Tom Hull
From: http://www.merrimack.edu/~thull/fit.html
and Origami, Rick Beech, ISBN 0754807827
Why: I've been futzing with this mode for ages, and finally managed to get it assembled. It turns out that I had managed to put it together exactly mirror-opposite to the photo example in the book, which made it nearly impossible to use the intermediate assembly photos for help. I ended up taking the thing completely apart, and building it just like the one in the photo.
As my buddy Scott Cramer says, it's one of those models for which it helps immensely to have already assembled one before you try to assemble one. Ya.
