Prayer Team
The Prayer Team is one of MITKCF's Ministry Training Teams. These teams train their members in a particular aspect of the Christian life, aiming to spur on their development in these areas. In turn, thse members bless the KCF community, sharing their skills and insights to encourage and inspire us into these forms of ministry.
Prayer is an integral part of the life of a Christian. Prayer is not only a time where we present our needs and requests to God; it is also a time for God to speak to us as well as a time to build our personal relationship with God.
Since prayer is such a vital part of our lives, the prayer ministry of KCF takes multiple forms:
- Prayer is included as part of all large group and small group meetings.
- We meet Wednesdays at 7PM in front of McCormick for a time of corporate prayer.
- After large group meetings, individuals are available to pray with you for anything you might want prayer for: ranging from a prayer of thanks for finishing a problem set to prayers for physical healing.
- Finally, we encourage prayer in every aspect of our lives.
Many of these aspects of the Prayer Ministry are overseen by the Prayer Team. This is sort of a small group geared toward the teaching and doing of prayer. This year, the prayer team is going through Richard Foster's Prayer.
