If a Hewlett-Packard
plotter is being used in 'pass through mode' (see section 17.14), you will
need to set the communications rate of the plotter. |

If you
will be using 'pass through mode', you will have to turn this option to
ON. It is reccomended that this option be left OFF unless it will be used
because the sequence required to put PC-PLOT-IV in 'pass through mode'
may appear in a normal data stream and the program would appear to hang
up. |

can be selected with this option. |

This
item defines a 16 character string which will be used by the NETBIOS interface
as the name of the network host or the name of the network device that
will be communicated with. |

Local Network Node Name |
This
item defines a 16 character string which will be used by the NETBIOS interface
as the name of the local microcomputer running PC-PLOT-IV. This name will
be added to the names in the network when PC-PLOT-IV is put in NETBIOS
mode. |
15.18 Screendump module |
If the
screendump module supplied with PC-PLOT will not function correctly with
your printer or graphics board and you have a loadable device driver which
will
perform
the screendump function when shft-printscreen is depressed, you can cause
PC-PLOT-IV to not load its own screendump. Thus, if you load your hardware
manufacturer's screendump before running PC-PLOT-IV, you should be able
to perform the screendump function from inside PC-PLOT-IV. |

The normal
mode of operation of the VT-100 emulation is to define that modes 1, 4,
5, and 7 define bold, underline, blink, and reverse video respectively.
The visual attribute setting is the default. If you want to have the display
rendition command select |
a color
rather than a visual attribute, change this selection to Colors. The attributes
will then be: |

If you
are using a parallel printer, you will be able to specify that the printer

Settings |

The window
settings select the amount of a picture that will be drawn on the screen.
The default window is 4095 x 3119 for the 4105 mode and 2559 x 1919 for
the 4027 mode. |

If you
specify a 4105 window of 0, 1023, 0, 779, the lower quarter of the picture
will be drawn but scaled so that it fills the entire screen. |
