Baker House Dining

Baker House Dining is located in Baker House (W7-026). Baker Dining serves dinner 7-days a week and is, therefore, only available for events before 4PM. Baker House dining room is excellent for small to medium size banquets, receptions and parties. Reservations should be made with the Baker House Manager, Jon Nolan, at 253-3675.

Forbes Family Café

Forbes Family Café (32) is located in the Ray and Maria Stata Center, on the first floor, close to the buildings' classrooms. It is available for rental beginning at 5PM on Friday through the weekend; because the Café offers morning coffee service and serves Lunch and Dinner, this space cannot be reserved during these times. Weekend reservations can be made through the Campus Activities Complex.

Lobdell Dining Room

Lobdell Dining Room (W20-208) is available Monday-Friday after 4PM and all day Saturday and Sunday. It is generally used for banquets, parties, dances and movies. Please note that the balconies of Lobdell must be reserved separately. This room is equipped with a movie screen and an adjustable lighting system.

McCormick Hall Dining

McCormick Dining is located in McCormick Hall (W4-122) and is available Sunday through Thursday before 4PM and all day Friday and Saturday. This dining room has a modernist architectural design and offers spectacular views of the Charles River and Boston. Reservations should be made with the McCormick Hall House Manager, Colleen Honohan, at 253-5963.

Next House Dining/Next House Private Dining Room (PDR)

Next House Dining (W71-129) is available Sunday through Thursday before 4PM and all day Friday and Saturday. Next House Dining boasts a panoramic view of the Charles River and the Boston skyline.

The Next House Private Dining Room (PDR) is equipped with a full complement of audio-visual equipment. This setting is an ideal on-campus space for small group meetings, presentations, coffee breaks and luncheons up to 20 people. Next PDR is available Sunday through Thursday before 4PM, all day Friday and Saturday, and by special arrangement. Reservations should be made with the Next House Manager, Julie Gagnon, at 253-8763.

Simmons Hall Dining

Simmons Dining (W79) was designed by famed architect Steven Holl. The attractive, artistic dining hall is a focal point of the building. The room is available Sunday through Thursday before 4PM and all day Friday and Saturday. Banquets, presentations and receptions are just a few of the rooms' uses. Reservations should be made by contacting the House Manager, Rui Borges, at 253-2065.

MIT Faculty Club

Located on the banks of the Charles River at 50 Memorial Drive, the MIT Faculty Club's physical location provides the perfect setting for elegant and sophisticated special events. With eight function rooms — most with spectacular river views — the MIT Faculty Club can accommodate parties ranging from 2 to 200. Despite the name, the Club is open to the entire MIT community, not just faculty members. Call 253-2111 to speak to an MIT Faculty Club and Catering staff member about your vision for your meeting, function or event.
