SPINEVOLUTION workshop - software

The winter school included a workshop on SPINEVOLUTION, a software package for NMR simulations. Note that the latest version (v. 3.3.2) has been released, at the URL below. Please make sure to have this version installed! The software can be downloaded from the following website: http://web.mit.edu/fbml/cmr/griffin-group/SPINEVOLUTION/index.htm. It can also be helpful to have some variant of plotting/visualization software installed. Grace and MATLAB are recommended. To install Grace: on Mac OSX -- download the binary from http://hpc.sourceforge.net/; on Windows -- install via cygwin (http://www.cygwin.com); on Linux -- compile from the source (http://plasma-gate.weizmann.ac.il/Grace) or install binary package grace or xmgrace for your distribution of choice.

Workshop on ab initio calculations - software

There is a piece of freeware that could be useful for viewing the Gaussian input and output files, called Molden. It is available for a variety of platforms. For instructions on downloading and installing it, see: http://www.cmbi.ru.nl/molden/howtoget.html
