Paris has a vast number of famous and interesting museums. Although we were only able to visit a small fraction of them on our trip, these museums gave us a more concrete way to learn about the history of Paris. We also got to experience all kinds of art, from the ancient and classical at the Louvre to the modern interactive displays at the Centre Pompidou. It was a big help that at each museum we were accompanied by a conférencière, a guide who pointed out many treasures we would have otherwise missed.
