6: Analyzing Data in the Geodata Repository
Once a spatial data layer is added to ArcView or
ArcGIS, you have the ability to analyze it using
any tools.
Note that some of ArcView's analytical capabilities
are not available when the file is located in the
Geodata Repository. These tools include:
1. Zoom to selected.
2. Table Join.
3. Table Sort Ascending or Descending.
4. Table Editing.
In order to perform these operations you will need
to download the spatial
database files to your local machine.
