The Fall 2018 concert season will include:

John Oliver Memorial Concert

John Oliver was the Director of Choral Programs at MIT and chorus master at the Tanglewood Festival Chorus. The MIT Concert Choir, the MIT Symphony Orchestra, and singers from the Tanglewood Festival Chorus will perform together in his honor. More.

“Nänie” - Johannes Brahms


A program featuring three wonderfully varied settings of the “Gloria” text from the Roman Mass. The “Gloria” is an early prose hymn whose origins have been traced back to a “morning prayer” in the Apostolic Constitution (c.380) and to a Greek version of the the 2nd century. The “Gloria” is a hymn of praise sung immediately after the “Kyrie” in the Ordinary of the Mass and is sung on all festal occasions. More.

An Evening with Jacob Collier

Jacob Collier is a British singer, aranger, and composer. He will be performing at the invitation of Fred Harris, conductor of the MIT Wind Ensemble. The choirs will be participating in this concert. More on Jacob Collier.
