Three Prizes were awarded at the MIT Transportation Fair held March 11, 2009 in the Stata Center:

$25 gift certificate to Cambridge Bicycle Shop - winner is Jarina Shrestha, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
$25 gift card to Cosi Restaurant - winner is Beth Downing, Medical Department.
One pedometer - winner is April Holland, undergraduate first year.

Traveling On/Off Campus

Getting around town or across campus, finding news, using tips or tools to make better choices, these are the goals of our "helpers and news."

Mass Avenue contruction - There is a downloadable plan on the site, which shows that there are going to be better defined bike paths, sidewalks will be redone and the corners will come out further. Parking on the street will be "tucked in" from the corners.
