E-Commerce Services
The MIT Office of the Vice-President for Finance offers online credit card payment processing allowing student groups to sell items (tickets, conference registration, etc) through the Cybersource and Activa system. Customers will be able to pay for tickets, conference fees, etc., directly on a secure website for your group.
Student groups need to:
- Complete a SAO registration form (budget plan)
- Meet with an SAO Staff person to review the Merchant Account Forms

- bring a completed business plan to SAO for the meeting
- SAO Staff will review

- SAO will submit your business plan and the merchant team will notify you when your account is active
Setup time for this process may be approximately 2 weeks before service is activated, please plan accordingly. Groups who have previously registered in the past for e-commerce need only to re-register with SAO and setup time is approximately 1 week.
