Use this form to request that an additional person be authorized to use the same parking facility that you do.

Affiliate Parking
This application is used by any MIT affiliate who requires parking on campus.
Examples of MIT Affiliates are:
- Wellesley or cross-registered students
- Spouses (or spousal equivalents) of an MIT Student, MIT Faculty/Staff, Alumnus/a
- Non-Employee Commuters: short-term hires, consultants, contract employees, DAPER members, Alumni and vendors

Bicycle Commuter Benefit
This form is used by full-time MIT employees who commute to work by bicycle. This reimbursement benefit cannot be combined with any other MIT parking or transit benefits.

Cancellation--Parking Permit
Use this form to cancel an existing parking permit. Once you decide to cancel, you must bring your parking sticker to the Parking and Transportation Office to stop payments.

Carpool/Vanpool Parking
Fill out this form to apply for a parking permit for a carpool or vanpool. Those interested in the MIT/vRide Vanpool Subsidy Pilot Program must also fill out the enrollment form below.

Department Vehicle Permit
Use the Department Vehicle Permit Application [online or PDF] to request permits for department-owned vehicles.

Extended Parking Notification
An MIT permit holder who is traveling on Institute business may request to leave their vehicle in an MIT lot for up to two weeks while they are away.

Motorcycle Permit and Key
Drivers who commute on motorcycle must apply for a parking permit.

Parking (Online)
Faculty, staff, students, and affiliates who commute to campus by car should fill the appropriate online form to request a a regular, economy, or occasional parking permit

Parking Citation Appeal
All appeals for parking citations must be submitted in writing by using this form.

Private Transit Subsidy
This application is used by MIT staff or faculty to request a subsidy for their commute to work via private transit (e.g. Amtrak, Peter Pan bus).

Parking permit holders can use this form to request a replacement parking sticker.

Temporary Parking Permit
Temporary permits may be issued for a variety of reasons including temporary staffing needs or the use of a rental vehicle.

T Pass (Online)
Faculty, staff, students, and affiliates who commute to campus by MBTA (bus, subway, or commuter rail) should fill out the appropriate online form to request a subsidizes MBTA pass.

Transponder for "Hands Free" Parking
If you park in the Main Lot, Stata Garage or upper level of the West Garage, you may receive a transponder for your car by filling out this application.

Vanpool Subsidy Program (MIT/vRide)
Employees can sign up for the Vanpool Subsidy Program by using this enrollment form. A Carpool/Vanpool Parking Application must also be filled out by each driver.

Visitor Parking
Parking passes for visitors are available for invited guests of any MIT department. Department personnel with SAP authorization may purchase visitor passes through SAP.
