EZRide Shuttle
The Northwest Shuttle has been replaced by EZRide
On Monday, August 9 shuttle service to and around campus underwent several changes. The most significant change was that the Northwest shuttle service ceased operation and was replaced by the EZRide shuttle service.
The new EZRide schedule is more complex than the former Northwest Shuttle. The EZRide schedule is composed of three distinct routes: Morning, Midday and Evening. The first vehicle departs Kendall Square daily at 6:34AM. An MIT ID is required to ride.
It will provide increased shuttle frequency and capacity, service to Tech Square and the Galleria Mall, and a one seat ride from Northwest campus to North Station via Kendall Square. EZRide service employs larger vehicles powered by environmentally friendly CNG (Compressed Natural Gas).
