The Department offers four Executive Education programs.
The Reactor Technology Course for Utility Executives, offered jointly with the Institute for Nuclear Power Operations, is an intensive three-week program designed for executives with a non-nuclear background to lean the fundamentals of nuclear technology and how critical safety functions work. Participation is by invitation.
This new leadership education course, based at MIT, focuses on the governance strategies, operational practices, and technologies required for a successful nuclear energy program. The course draws on a wide range of experiences and insights from around the world. more
The Nuclear Plant Safety Course (MIT's longest running summer program) is a one-week course on safety and regulatory aspects of nuclear reactors in the U.S. and other countries. more
