NSE’s Cappellaro appointed as Edgerton Career Development Professor
NSE Associate Professor Paola Cappellaro has been appointed to an Esther and Harold E. Edgerton Career Development Professorship for a three-year term commencing July 1, 2013.
MIT established the Edgerton Career Development Professorships in 1973. The chairs honor Professor and Mrs. Edgerton, who were a source of friendship and encouragement to students and young faculty members for more than fifty years. The appointments are intended to support young faculty members in pursuing new ideas and opportunities in their research.
