Integrated Photonic Devices and Materials Group

 Alex Grine was a member of Prof. Kolodziejski's research group from 2005 to 2006 earning a Master in Science degree in 2007 from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He conducted research in the design and fabrication of an electrically-activated photonic crystal microcavity laser resulting in his M.S.E.E. thesis titled "The Design and Fabrication of an Electrically Activated Photonic Crystal Microcavity Laser". He is currently employed at Sandia National Laboratory.
