Third-year graduate students, Derek Gaston and Zhaoyuan Liu, from the Computational Reactor Physics Group (CRPG) won awards for their presentations at the 2017 International Conference on Mathematics and Computational Methods Applied to Nuclear Science and Engineering (M&C 2017). Gaston won the award for his presentation entitled “Verification of MOCkingbird, an Unstructured-Mesh, Method of Characteristics Implementation Using the MOOSE Multiphysics Framework”.
