Description
The SolventHood-TRL is a fume hood for solvent work. It has a sash that can be closed, and can accomodate a hot plate for careful double-bath heating of solvents. The hood less commonly used as an active work surface but more as a place to keep beakers during liftoff or for longer solvent treatment of samples. The sash is adjustable, but proper sash height should be restored after accessing the hood.

LimitationsSash can restrict workspace, and for hands-on solvent use, the photo-wet-r bench is more suitable.

Caution withSolvents can be left unattended if beakers have a lid and are labeled with user, chemical and date. Unlabeled beakers will be disposed off by staff. Use of hotplate can never be unattended.
